We are pleased that you are seeking to join the MSU community, with our nearly 100 year tradition of excellence and educational leadership. We offer outstanding and innovative graduate programs, and consider MSU a flexible place to pursue an education.

You are about to begin the Online Graduate Application. This segment of the application will allow The Graduate School to gain a better understanding of your intended field of study. We encourage you to complete each section in its entirety before moving onto other sections.

The Online Application will ask for your enrollment, personal, academic, employment and residency information, guided by the tabs at the top of each application screen. In addition, it will give you the opportunity to submit your essay, letters of recommendation, resume and other supporting documentation. If you are unable to submit these documents at this time, we strongly encourage you to complete all other fields in the Online Application and submit the remaining documents by mail to The Graduate School. By submitting this information, we will be able to create an admission file for you and ultimately accelerate the admissions decision process.
